CLUB OBJECTIVES:
- Guide our members toward a greater understanding of the German Shepherd Dog.
- Encourage only breedings which will lead to breed improvement; and do everything possible to bring the German Shepherd's physical and mental qualities to perfection.
- Adopt guidelines such as a Breeder Code of Ethics which sets forth for members basic minimum requirements for the breeding and maintenance of the German Shepherd Dog.
- Require members and urge breeders and the general public to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club.
- Encourage sportsmanlike participation at dog shows, obedience trials, rally trials, tracking tests and other activities.
- Conduct AKC licensed specialty shows, matches, obedience and rally trials.
- Educate members and others on feeding, diseases, treatment, fundamental training, general care and understanding of the breed.
