PARTIES

The club has an annual Halloween party in October.  In 2018 we went to a member's home for the party in a decorated barn and a great campfire outdoors.

The club enjoys an end of the year Christmas party in December.

The club had their annual summer picnic in August 2017.

now owned by the club president, Mary Ann Hartley.

The club had their annual Christmas party on December 11 2016 at a park in Victor.  HAd a nice turnout, lots of good food, a cold walk on the park trail, and many items donated for the Wayne County Humane society.

The club has a special 2016 November club meeting in that it was a sendoff for a long term member, Carrie Tarrien.  Carrie is moving with her family to Michigan.

2015 Christmas

We held our Christmas Party at the beautiful lodge at Victor's Municipal
Park on Brace Rd. It was a gorgeous day and the park has a lot of nice
trails and we walked our dogs. We had about 18 dogs who also enjoyed the
weather, company and of course the attention. A perfect day for walking.
The lodge was decorated with a Christmass tree and garlands on the
mantel; Carol had also brought some of her decorations to place on the
tables. We had ham supplied by the club and many different dishes
brought by members, including lots of desserts. It was great to get
together with members and friends we don't always see because of our
busy lives. Looking at the photos from the party I would have to say the
stars of the show were Riley and Cameron, our future junior handlers.
Many thanks to Carol Criss who organized everything and gave us another
great Christmas party. Hopefully it will be the same place next year but
we cannot guarantee the weather. Ann we missed you.

2015 Halloween

Party was held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. We had 11 two legged and 10 four legged attending. Ann Marie and Robin came dressed up along with Harley Almond (Kris Fletcher’ granddaughter). Ann Marie and Robin brought extra costumes and we really mean extra and insisted that all people and dogs had to have some kind of costume if only a hat. Prizes were given for

1st place 2 legged won by Robin St George

1st place 4 legged won by Lacey (Sharon’s puppy courtesy of costume by Ann Marie)

1st place team of dog and handler won by Ann Marie and Artemis

1st place junior won by Harley Almond

We paraded around the store and gave treats to employees and customers, and then took time to consume cake, cookies, cider and pop. Treats of candy went to everyone and treats of meat bones went to all of our 4 legged companions. It was a lot of fun and those that did not attend missed a great time.
