2023 has shown a renewed interest in people showing dogs, but it is no where near like it was prior to COVID. This year the club put on a GSDCA Temperment Test. The last Temperment Test the club did was in 2017. There were a total of 20 dogs tested.
For 2022, a show was done with Iroquois, but there was a change in venue. The club moved to the Junius Fire Department activities field. Unfortunately, no pictures were taken that year.
The relaxation of COVID restrictions by the fall of 2021 allowed the club to schedule a specialty show, but at the end of closing, there were no entries (people were just not coming back to showing dogs yet), so again there was no show done. In addition, Rally and Obedience was dropped from the show weekend with Iroquois and the club has joined up with the Twin Valley Cluster the first weekend in September and runs those events on the Friday show day.
2020 was the first COVID year and as a result all shows were cancelled.
The club in conjunction with the Iroquois GSD Club of Syracuse puts on a weekend (Friday-Sunday) of
GSD conformation and All-breed Obedience and Rally shows in May of 2019. Plus supported entreis at the Twin Valley Cluster Shows.
In June of 2017, the Genesee Valley Kennel Club joined forces with the Tonawanda Valley Kennel Club to create a three day cluster called WNY Twin Valley Cluster, "Paws under the Dome". The GSD club did supported entries for all three days of the event.
Up until 2017 the club also put on a GSD conformation and All-breed OBedience and Rally show in
conjunction with the Genesee Valley Kennel Club June shows.
